Bible Truth FAQs

Satan is constantly accused of causing people to sin. He has certainly done his part in making it possible, but is he really the cause?

Hear the Apostle Paul's words of Rom. 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

James stated, "But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of HIS OWN LUST. and enticed (Jas. 1:14). Paul said that God will not allow us to be tempted above that which we are able to bear, but will with the temptation provide a way to escape (I Cor. 10:13). Satan has no power over those who are in Christ.

Let's put the blame where it belongs. "The devil made me do it" is just not true. You are the only one who can cause you to be eternally lost.
