THE EARTH'S AGE
Men have devised ways (?) to determine the age of portions of earth matter. Some scientists tell us that certain finds (such as fossils) are millions of years old, and that there has been a succession of earth ages, each having lasted millions of years. This goes hand in hand with the theory of evolution. Shockingly, we allow such theories to be taught as facts in our institutions of learning even though they contradict the inspired word of God. Scientific facts have always been in harmony with the scriptures. Scientific theories have not.
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Corinth (I Cor. 1:25, 27), "...the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men...But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise..."
The Bible accounts for three periods of history: the Patriarchal age -2,500 years, the Mosaic saga -1,500 years, and the church age - so far, nearly 2000 years. This accounts for only about 6,000 years of earth history.
If you believe the evolution theory, you cannot believe the Bible also. If you believe the Bible, you accept the Bible fact that God created man in a full-grown state. Adam was a mature adult when he was one day old. If God crested a full-grown man, what could have prevented him from cresting a full-grown earth? Very simple, isn't it?
