THE ANTI-CHRIST?
Through the years there have been many attempts to identify some world dignitary as "the Anti-Christ." Evangelists have recognized the topic as a highly successful attraction. Just prior to the full-stage hostilities of World War II, such leaders as Hitler, Mussolini, and Hirohito were given this inglorious distinction. With their passing, efforts have continued to identify "the Anti-Christ."
Almost 2,000 years ago the Apostle John identified the anti-Christ, but he said there were many (I John 2:18). In verse 20 he said, "Who is a liar but he that denieth Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ that denieth the Father and the Son." In I John 4:3 he said that every spirit who will not confess that Jesus 1s come in the flesh is that spirit of anti-Christ.
Jesus himself said (Matt. 12:30), "He that is not with me is against (anti) me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." Let's not label any individual as "the Anti-Christ." There are literally billions of them.
