Bible Truth FAQs

This is not intended to alarm anyone but only as a reminder of some facts of that great and final day.

May we be reminded first of all that it is surely coming. It is just as certain as death and just as unpredictable, if not more so. We know not the day nor the hour. In Heb. 9:27 the writer stated, " is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

The judgment will separate the good from the bad (Matt. 25:31-46). Every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess, and everyone shall give account of himself (Rom. 14:10-12). There will be no respect of persons (Acts 10:34) for all will stand before a righteous judge (II Tim. 4:8). His judgment will be final as there is no higher authority (Matt. 28:18).

How close is the judgment? It is no farther than death itself because that is when eternal destiny is sealed. Judgment could come sooner, but this we cannot predict. The urgency is that preparation for the judgment should be made immediately so that time will be of no consequence. Those in Christ will be ready for the judgment (Rev. 14:13). Make haste today to get into Christ (Gal. 3:26-27).
