HOW MEN REJECT GOD'S COUNSEL

In Mark 16:16 Jesus said, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved…" Denominational ministers preach that baptism is non-essential.

Luke wrote (Luke 7:28-29) that those who heard Jesus justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John, but the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God, being not baptized of him. This was before Jesus died for the sins of the world, and after he died and had risen said, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved."

Who would dare contradict the requirements specified by the author of eternal salvation (Heb. 5:8-9)? No one except a minister of Satan who has been transformed as a minister of righteousness (II Cor. 11:14-15). Don't allow yourself to be deceived by Satan's ministers. If they were preaching gospel truth, it would be what Jesus said, not contradictory.
